| Academic Year 2008-09 should follow the Admission Procedure as mentioned below | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| 1) Admission form in College office (Venue : PGMCOE, Wagholi, Pune in Administrative Office) | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| 2) Fill the Admission Form neatly & completely. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| 3) Verification of the form by the Competent Authority in the Administrative Office of PGMCOE, Pune | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| 5) Reporting of admission to D.T.E. – Candidate is required to provide his/her Application ID and Password generated by him/her at the time of filling the Government online application form. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

Direct admission to Second Year Engineering after passing Diploma Course However, the eligibility requirements for direct admission to second year classes after passing Diploma Courses as per the admission procedure and rules by DTE, Mumbai and University of Pune. Groups and subgroups of diplomas for which the preferences will be given for admission to degree courses are as given below. Regulations for B.E. Degree Course |

• About 75% attendance in each head of passing of theory or term-work or practical as prescribed by the university. • Satisfactory completion of term-work prescribed for the part and passing in the term-work by securing at least 40% marks out of the maximum marks prescribed for each separately assessed term-work. • Good conduct. • A candidate who is granted term of F.E. Part I will be allowed to keep terms for his / her F.E. Part II examination even if he / she appears and fails or does not appear at the F.E. Part I examination. • A candidate who is granted term of S.E. Part I will be allowed to keep terms for his / her S.E. Part II examination even if he / she appears and fails or does not appear at the S.E. Part I examination. • A candidate who is granted term of T.E. Part I will be allowed to keep terms for his / her T.E. Part II examination even if he / she appears and fails or does not appear at the T.E. Part I examination. • A candidate who is granted term of B.E. Part I will be allowed to keep term for his / her B.E. Part II examination even if he/she appears and fails or does not appear at B.E. Part I examination. At each part examination Paper, Termwork, Practical, Oral as prescribed in the subjects, shall each constitute a separate head of passing. In respect of term-work, a target date shall be fixed for the completion of each sheet, job, project, experiment or assignment as prescribed in the syllabus and the same complete or incomplete shall be collected on the target date and assessed immediately as an affiliated college by at least one paper of the concerned recognised teacher and countersigned by the Principal. Term work and performance at practical / oral examinations shall be assessed on the basis of the depth of understanding of the principle involved and not on the basis of more correctness of results of ornamental or colourful presentation. The term-work assessment will be done by concerned internally recognised teachers continuously and if necessary, by an oral examination. To pass the F.E./S.E./T.E./B.E. examination
• Candidates who pass and secure 50% or more but less than 60% marks in aggregate in an examination will be declared to have passed the examination in second class. • Candidates who pass and secure 55% or more but less than 60% marks in aggregate in an examination will be declared to have passed the examination in higher second class. • Candidates who pass and secure 60% or more but less than 66% marks in aggregate in an examination will be declared to have passed the examination in first class. • Candidates who pass and secure 66% or more marks in aggregate in an examination will be declared to have passed the examination in First class with Distinction. |
